What's the aftercare process?

The healing process of lip blushing takes about 5 to 10 days. Side effects such as swelling and redness may occur during the healing process and you can use soothing aftercare cream to apply to your lips daily for one week. Do not apply lipstick on top of the lip blushing while it is healing, as this may risk infection. Avoid intense workouts and sun exposure during this time, too. By the end of the first week, the lips will scab, and the scabs will fall off. (Whatever you do, don’t pick or peel them.) If you need, your provider will conduct a second session in 6 to 10 weeks to touch up the color.
